How to build a wardrobe
Our wardrobes are made to order, which means a few decisions before it gets built. None of them are complicated. This walks through the four of them in the order we would ask you in the showroom.
Start with the width
Measure the wall first. Everything from a single door up to a six door run is built as one piece, so the number you need is the space you have, not the number of doors you want.

Doors only, or doors and drawers
Every width above comes as doors alone, or with a bank of drawers built into the bottom of one section. The drawers sit under a shorter hanging space, which suits shirts and jackets rather than long coats.

Then decide what goes inside
Every wardrobe comes with a full hanging rail as standard. Anything else is a swap or an addition, fitted at the factory when it is built.

Last, the finishing touches
Mirrors are fitted into the door at the factory rather than hung on it afterwards, so they sit flush and there is nothing to work loose.

One last thing, before you order
This is the part people forget, and it is the only thing that can go wrong on delivery day.
Because our wardrobes are built and finished in the factory, they arrive as one piece. A six door run is 2305mm of assembled wardrobe coming through your front door, up your stairs and round whatever turn is at the top. It cannot be broken down and rebuilt in the room.
