Products, descriptions & images

We take care to describe and picture our products accurately. However, photographs are for illustration and colours, fabrics, grains and finishes may vary slightly from what appears on your screen. Where possible we recommend viewing items in our Clydebank showroom before ordering.

Pricing & payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. We make every effort to ensure prices are correct, but if we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed. Payment is taken through our secure checkout, or in person at the showroom.

Orders & contract

When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. A contract is formed once we confirm or dispatch your order. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order, for example where goods are unavailable or a pricing error has occurred, in which case any payment taken will be refunded.

Made-to-order items & lead times

Many of our sofas, Chesterfields and beds are made to order, and flooring and carpet may be cut to your measurements. Lead times given are estimates and are not guaranteed; we will keep you informed of expected delivery. Delivery

Delivery options, timescales and charges are explained on our Delivery page and confirmed before you complete your order.

Finance

Finance is available subject to status. In-store 0% finance is arranged through Payment Assist, and Klarna is available online at checkout. These options are provided by third-party finance providers and are subject to their terms, eligibility and approval. See our 0% Finance and Pay with Klarna pages for details.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable consumer protection law, including your rights in relation to goods that are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose.

Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable or that arise from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Intellectual property

The content of this website, including text, images, logos and design, belongs to Paul James Home Ltd or its licensors and may not be copied or reproduced without our permission.

Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as supplier delays, extreme weather or transport disruption. We will let you know and work with you to minimise any impact.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of Scotland.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published at the time you place an order is the version that applies.
