New · Dallux rise and recline chairs · Clydebank
The Dallux Nevis. Made to fit you.
A rise and recline chair in three sizes, so your feet sit flat and your back is properly supported. Choose two, three or four motors, pick one of five colours, and try it in our showroom before you buy.

Step one
Choose your size
The right size matters more than anything else on a riser chair. Your feet should sit flat on the floor when the chair is level, and your back should reach the top of the lumbar cushion. If you are not sure, come in and sit in one.

Choose your motors
Every Nevis rises to help you stand and reclines right back. More motors give you finer control over exactly how you sit.

Step three
Choose your colour
Five soft, hard-wearing colours. Every fabric is treated so spills bead on the surface and wipe away. Come in to see the swatches side by side.

How it moves
Up, back, and everything between
Hold a button and it moves. Let go and it stops, so you can rest in exactly the position that suits you.

Rises to stand
The whole seat lifts and tilts forward, taking the strain off your knees and hips as you get up.

Feet up, back upright
Raise the footrest on its own and keep your back where it is. Perfect for reading or a cup of tea.

Reclines right back
Lay back almost flat with your legs supported for a proper rest in the afternoon.

Ask about reliefQuestions
Before you choose
Which size do I need?
Sit right back in the chair: your feet should rest flat on the floor and your thighs should be supported without the seat edge pressing behind your knees. Most people suit the Standard. If your feet dangle, go Petite. If your knees sit higher than your hips, or the seat feels tight, go Grande.
Is it worth getting more motors?
Two motors already let you raise your legs without tipping back. The third motor adds a powered headrest, which helps if you like to read or watch TV reclined. The four motor model adds adjustable lumbar support, massage and heat, which many people with back stiffness find worth it.
What happens in a power cut?
Every Nevis has a built-in battery backup, so the chair can still move you to a comfortable position until the power is back.
How heavy a person can it take?
All three sizes are built to support up to 24 stone (150kg).
Can I see the colours first?
Yes. We have the Nevis on display and swatches of all five colours in our Clydebank showroom.
How do I pay without VAT?
If the chair is for someone who is chronically sick or disabled, you sign a short declaration when you order and the VAT comes off. See how VAT relief works or give us a call.
