Chester Square is the more affordable of our two luxury vinyl tile collections, and it's built on the same idea as Holland Park — twelve oak decors running through both a straight plank and a parquet block, so you can lay herringbone in the hall and plank through the lounge in exactly the same tone with no clash at the threshold. Like all LVT it's glued down rather than floating, so there's no wood-based core to swell if water gets in, no hollow sound underfoot, and individual pieces can be lifted and replaced if one ever gets damaged. The surface is embossed to follow the grain and finished with a double protective coating. The difference from Holland Park is the build. Chester Square is 2mm thick with a 0.3mm wear layer and a 15-year residential warranty; Holland Park is 2.5mm with a 0.55mm wear layer and 20 years. The wear layer is the clear film protecting the printed decor, so a thicker one keeps its looks longer under heavy traffic. Which you should choose depends on the room: for a bedroom, a spare room or a flat you're doing up to let, Chester Square is the sensible spend. For a hallway or a kitchen that takes the whole family, we'd point you at Holland Park and explain why. The one thing Chester Square wins on outright is height — at 2mm it's the slimmest floor we stock, which matters if you're going up against an existing floor level or a door that already catches. Part of the Floors by Lewis Abbott collection, distributed by Likewise Floors.

Formats and decors
The same twelve decors run through both formats, so decide on the layout first and the colour second. Availability moves around, so ring us on 0141 266 0400 and we'll confirm stock before you commit. Both are in the showroom — and a parquet block is worth seeing laid rather than loose, because the pattern changes it completely.
Chester Square Classical — plank
A long 180mm by 1200mm board for a conventional wood-floor look. Quicker and cheaper to fit than parquet, and long continuous boards make an open-plan room read as more spacious.
Chester Square Parquet — block
A 101.6mm by 457.2mm block for herringbone and chevron layouts. It turns a hallway into a feature, but allow for the extra fitting time — there are 108 pieces in a pack rather than 22.
Common questions
Why is there no price on this page?
Flooring is priced per job rather than per metre off a shelf. With glue-down LVT the subfloor preparation makes a real difference — the base has to be flat and sound, so an old or uneven floor may need levelling first. Call us on 0141 266 0400 with rough measurements, or book a free home measure and we'll price it properly including any prep.
Chester Square or Holland Park?
Chester Square is 2mm with a 0.3mm wear layer and 15 years' warranty. Holland Park is 2.5mm with a 0.55mm wear layer and 20 years. The wear layer is the clear film protecting the printed decor, so the thicker one holds its appearance longer where traffic is heavy. Chester Square for bedrooms, spare rooms and rental refurbishments; Holland Park for hallways, kitchens and anywhere the whole family goes through daily. We'd rather steer you right than sell you the dearer one by default.
Will 2mm fit under my doors?
It's the slimmest floor we stock, so it's the best chance you've got — particularly if you're butting up to an existing tiled or wooden floor and don't want a step. Bring us the gap under the door at its tightest point and we'll check it against the actual product and the adhesive bed rather than guessing from a number.
Is it suitable for a kitchen or bathroom?
The tiles don't absorb water, so LVT is a common and sensible choice for both. The honest caveat is the same as any glued tile floor: the joints aren't sealed the way a sheet vinyl floor is, so prolonged standing water can eventually reach the adhesive. Fine for normal kitchen and bathroom life. For a wet room, come and talk to us properly.
Can I mix the plank and the parquet?
Yes, and it's the main reason to choose this range. The same twelve decors run through both formats, so a parquet hallway meets a plank lounge in exactly the same oak tone with no clash at the threshold. It's a smart way to make an entrance feel special without carrying the extra fitting cost through the whole house.
Do you fit as well as supply?
We do. We arrange fitting across Clydebank, Glasgow and the surrounding areas, including uplift and disposal of your old flooring. With glue-down LVT the finish depends almost entirely on how well the subfloor is prepared, so it's a job worth having done properly.

We don't list flooring prices online — every job is priced on the room, the subfloor preparation and the fitting. Bring your rough measurements and we'll work out a proper figure while you wait.
