About Vitality Style

Vitality Style is a laminate range built entirely around oak, which is why it works in so many rooms — oak is the one timber look that sits comfortably with almost any furniture you already own. The ten decors run the full tonal spread, from the pale, cool end with White Oiled Oak and Frozen Oak, through the neutral greys of Ocean Grey Oak, to warmer honeyed tones in Honey Oak, Sunset Oak and Brandon Oak. Laminate makes sense when you want a wood look that will put up with real life: it takes scuffs, pet claws and dragged dining chairs far better than a lacquered timber floor, it doesn't need sanding or oiling, and it's quick to fit. The embossing and sheen level make a bigger difference to how a floor reads than the colour name suggests, which is why it's worth seeing the boards properly before you settle on one. Decors in this range

All 10 decors below can be ordered through our Clydebank showroom. Screens flatten out grain and sheen, so these images tell you the colour but not much about how the board actually reads — especially if you're matching to existing doors or skirtings.

Matching to existing doors or skirtings? Bring us to the room

Most laminate jobs go into a room where something wooden is staying put — internal doors, skirtings, a kitchen worktop, a staircase. Getting an oak decor to sit properly against those is a judgement you can only make with the board in the room, and a screen genuinely can't do it. Book a free home measure and we'll bring the decors you like, hold them against what's already there, check the subfloor and door clearances, and give you a written price including underlay, trims, fitting and uplift. Free, no obligation.

Common questions

Why is there no price on this page?

Flooring is priced per job rather than per pack. The final figure depends on the room size and shape, the underlay, whether we're lifting an old floor, door bars and trims, and the fitting itself. The free home measure is how you get a real number, and it costs nothing.

Can I put laminate in a kitchen or bathroom?

Standard laminate isn't the best choice for a bathroom, and in a kitchen it depends how much water ends up on the floor. Where there's a real risk of spills or standing water, we'd point you at Vitality Aqua — the water-resistant version of this range — or at LVT instead. Tell us which room it's for and we'll steer you to the right product rather than sell you the wrong one.

How does laminate compare with LVT?

Laminate usually comes in cheaper and has a slightly harder, more echoey feel underfoot. LVT is warmer and quieter to walk on, handles moisture better, and tends to cost more. We can bring both to the measure so you can feel the difference in your own room rather than take our word for it.

Can it go over my existing floor?

Often yes, if the existing floor is solid, flat and sound — that's one of the advantages of a floating click system. But it depends what's under there and how level it is, which is exactly the sort of thing we check at the measure rather than guess at.

Do you fit as well as supply?

We do. We arrange fitting across Clydebank, Glasgow and the surrounding areas, including uplift and disposal of your old flooring if needed.

Let us bring Vitality Style to you

We don't list flooring prices online — every job is priced on the room, the underlay and the fitting. Book a free home measure and we'll bring the samples, check the subfloor and give you a written price including fitting. No charge, no obligation.
